Shemaroo Entertainment in association with Vishal Bhardwaj Pictures presents ISHQIYA starring Vidya Balan, Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi essentially.
Produced by Raman Maroo and Vishal Bhardwaj ISHQIYA is scheduled to release somewhere in December 2009. ISHQIYA is being directed by Vishal's assistant, debutante Abhishek Chaubey. The music department has been handled by Vishal Bhardwaj and lyrics penned by maestro Gulzar.
In ISHQIYAN Vidya is playing a very complex character and will be seen speaking the U.P dialect which is a common feature in Vishal Bharadwaj's movies. She also has a very different look in the film. Her character in the film is said to be slightly grey, a scheming woman, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, and is two timing the uncle-nephew jodi of Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi. |
