Sukumar(Bandreddi) is a Tollywood film director and screenwriter. Sukumar worked as assistant director for the film Dil. His directorial debut Arya was a sensational hit.

Background

He was a Mathematics lecturer before, he came to the film industry. He used to work in Aditya Tutorials, Kakinada. Since childhood, he had a passion for films, which eventually brought him Hyderabad. Russian Novels influenced him a lot. Later worked as an assistant director for the film “Dil” with -V.V.Vinayk and directed his first film in “Arya” in 2004, which went on to become a sensational hit. His next film was Jagadam with Devadasu fame Ram in the lead role. Though it didn't generate money at the B.O. ,it was a brilliant film.His recent film arya 2 amid huge expectations was criticized by critcs, but was appreciated by allu arjun's fans..
